Reviews for Jesse: The Secret Life of Cowboys
"Admirand shows western romance lovers just how great love at first sight can be, with down-home characters who have all the best qualities of small-town America and a narrative with a definite Texas twang. All of the western hallmarks are here: a down-on-her-luck heroine, a rancher hero who is honest and loyal and a small girl who captures the hearts of everyone who meets her." 4 Stars/HOT RT Reviews, Debbie Haupt
"With a little help from his brother's women and a few folks around town, Jesse and Danielle both come to realize that they are each what the other needs and with Lacy in tow they become what they all want..a family at the Circle G Ranch. Now we meet a few Garahan cousins in this book and unfortunately this is the last book in this trilogy but I'm hoping that we get to catch up with life on the farm and these lawman & fireman cousins because I'm sure one of them belongs to me. Plus I'll never look at a porch swing the same way again!! I think I need to take a trip to Texas." 4.5 Stars, Vampires, Werewolves & Fairies, Wendy

About C.H. Admirand
C.H. Admirand is an award-winning, multi-published author with novels in mass-market paperback, hardcover, trade paperback, magazine, e-book, and audio book format.
One of her writing quirks is to include bits and pieces of her Irish ancestors in all of her books. The castle on her website: Loughmoe Castle in Tipperary, Ireland is the home of her Purcell ancestors. Fate, destiny, and love at first sight will always play a large part in C.H.'s stories because they played a major role in her life. Each and every hero C.H. writes about has a few of her husband's best qualities: his honesty, his integrity, his compassion for those in need, and his killer broad shoulders. She lives in NJ with her husband and their three adult children. She loves to hear from readers! Stop by her website at www.chadmirand.com or visit her on Facebook, MySpace, and Twitter.

An Interview with the C.H. Admirand
By Holly Hewson for The Romance Studio
HH: C.H., thank you for talking with us at TRS. Your featured book is Jesse and is the third story in The Secret Lives of Cowboys series. Why is this series one readers won't want to miss?
CH: Hi Holly, thanks so much for doing the interview at TRS.:) Jesse is the youngest of the dark-haired, dark-eyed Garahan brothers and the only one who has had his heart broken by the same woman... twice. If anyone deserved a happily-ever-after, it’s Jesse! The Garahans will do anything to save the ranch that has been in their family for over 150 years. What’s not to love about men who are willing to go head-to-head against adversity... and the women who they meet along the way? The Garahan brothers are hard-working, life-loving, men of the land who have worked until they’ve bled to keep the Circle G going... and always will. Besides, who can resist a handsome-as-sin Texas cowboy with a loose-limbed walk and a come-hither smile?
HH: What can you tell us about the first two books in the series?
CH: It all starts with the oldest brother Tyler who decides the only way to make enough money to pay their bills is to take on a night job. He thinks he’s answering an ad to stock shelves and haul kegs of beer for the owner of the Lucky Star... when he realizes he’s the entertainment, he sticks it out, because a Garahan never goes back on his word. The pretty redheaded bookkeeper, with brownie batter smeared across her cheekbone like a slash of war paint and across her t-shirt, capture his attention from the start... he just can’t resist. The middle brother, Dylan, is the next of the brothers to run into trouble where a female is concerned. On his last night at the Lucky Star filling in for Tyler, Dylan is all set to lasso the birthday girl. What he doesn’t expect is the raven-haired temptress with the snapping green eyes glaring up at him, daring him to kiss her. Once he does, his life turns upside down.
HH: How does Jesse fit into it all?
CH: He’s the youngest Garahan and has just an extra dollop of Irish charm. Each of the brothers has a secret... Tyler that he was earning money for the ranch by stripping at the Lucky Star; Dylan that he was filling in for Tyler for a few days and working on the side as a carpenter to bring in money for the ranch; and finally Jesse, who never does get that chance to dance on the stage at the Lucky Star -- too bad, because he is the only brother who actually wants to... but he does get to get up on that stage with his brothers and his cousins during the Take Pride in Pleasure Day!
HH: What do you like about Danielle and what will readers think about this amazing heroine?
CH: Danielle has had to pick up her life and start all over with her three-year-old daughter Lacy. Her ex-husband has sold everything out from under them to buy a brand new RV so he can travel the rodeo circuit in style. But she doesn’t give up, even though her car only makes it to the outskirts of Pleasure, Texas. She and Lacy are rescued by Jesse Garahan who drops them off at her uncle’s diner in town. She doesn’t want to fall for another cowboy... but there’s just something different about Jesse that calls to her on an elemental level... that and the man is smitten with her itty, bitty, pink cowgirl daughter.
HH: What do you like best about Jesse and why will readers love him?
CH: Like his brothers, he’s a man of his word and unafraid to keep moving toward his goals no matter what obstacles are in his way. He wants to do his part to save the ranch, and wants to convince Danielle and Lacy that they belong at the Circle G. I was stuck on him when little Lacy looked up at him and told him she’d never seen a real cowboy in her whole life. <g>
HH: What makes this book unique compared to the rest of the books in the series?
CH: Jesse, Danielle and little Lacy’s story is more family oriented than his brothers’ stories, but when Danielle isn’t sure if she should follow her heart into Jesse’s arms, his brothers and their women put their heads together and come up with a sure-fire way to get those two together.
HH: What can you tell us about your forthcoming Small Town USA series?
CH: I’m having such fun with the Mulcahy sisters: Megan, Caitlin and Grace -- the sisters are running the family handyman business now that their father has retired. That’s right; these ladies know how to use power tools. <g> Love is always in the air in Apple Grove, Ohio... and the proof -- and latest proposal -- is painted on the town’s bright yellow water tower in John Deere green.
HH: What other in person or online appearances will you be making this year?
