Reviews for A Night to Remember
4 Books! "Mary Eason, with incredible description, subtle actions, and poignant love scenes, creates a world for the hero and heroine that excludes the secondary characters for the most part. The reader gets to vicariously experience the emotional upheavals that run the gamut. Also, description of some settings is so real one can feel the cold and wet of the Colorado winter storm and the warmth of Kyle’s picturesque home. A NIGHT TO REMEMBER is a story to remember—a story of a true love that endures. Good!" - Camellia, Long & Short Reviews

About Mary Eason I'm a Texan through and through. I was born in a small Central Texas town where I was the youngest of four kids. Being the baby of the family and quite a bit younger than my brothers and sister, gave me plenty of time to entertain myself. Making up stories seem to come natural to me. I could keep myself happy for hours with all the possibilities.
As a pre-teen, I discovered romance novels and knew instinctively that was what I wanted to do with my over-active imagination.
I wrote my first novel as a teen, (it's tucked away somewhere never to see the light of day), but never really pursued my writing seriously until later, when I wrote my first romantic comedy and was hooked.
I still live in Texas, and I still write romance. In fact, I can't think of anything I'd rather do.

An Interview with Mary Eason
By Holly Hewson for The Romance StudioHH: Mary, thank you for talking with us at TRS. Please tell us about your featured book, A Night to Remember. ME:
Emma Dupree thought she’d lost everything when her best friend Nick died of cancer. One night with Kyle Sabian proved that Emma wasn’t ready to give up on living just yet.
HH: Two people who meet by chance on a lonely night... Where did you get the idea for their emotionally-charged story? ME: I wish I had a better answer other than it just came to me. But as most writers will tell you, they can get inspiration just about anywhere. Usually a book idea will start with a simple thought. An observation. Then, before I know it, it’s turned into a romance.
HH: What do you like best about Emma and how do you identify with her? ME: I believe Emma is the perfect example of perseverance. She’s lost her best friend, she is almost penniless, and she’s just found out she’s pregnant. All things that might paralyze someone else, but not Emma.
HH: What do you like about Kyle and why might he be perfect for her? ME: Kyle had just gone through a nasty divorce that leaves him cold towards the opposite sex and thinking love is a myth. Emma’s unassuming nature teaches him that not all women are alike.
HH: What did you enjoy most about this story? ME: My favorite part of the story is realizing that at times, love really does conquer all. Emma and Kyle fell in love in spite all the obstacles standing in their way.
HH: What else do you have in store for lucky readers? ME: Root of all Evil, a gritty romantic suspense, released last month through Cerridwen Press. In December, The Rebel Rancher comes out through Whiskey Creek Press. And in February, Shadow Games, a romantic suspense spy story will release through Champagne Books. So stay tuned.
HH: How did you get your start as a writer? ME: I started out as a reader, of course. I was just a kid when I fell in love with romantic suspense stories. I devoured ever Phyllis Whitney and Victoria Holt book I could find. It wasn’t long before I tried my hand at writing.
HH: In your opinion, what is the best thing about being a writer? ME: Being able to live a thousand different lives and just as many adventures and not have to feel guilty about it.
HH: What do you enjoy reading and what would we find in your to-be-read pile? ME: Anything and everything involving romantic fiction. My favorite genre will always be romantic suspense.
HH: Any special plans for the holidays this year? ME: I’d love to go to our cabin in Colorado and have a traditional Christmas with all the family. And snow.
Thanks so much for letting me stop by.
HH: Thank you!
