TRS STUDIO DIVA!

What are the CAPA's? They are awards given by The Romance Studio for excellence in romantic and erotic fiction. Categories include inspirational, contemporary, fantasy, historical, mainstream, paranormal, romantic suspense, erotic contemporary, erotic fantasy, erotic historical, erotic paranormal, erotic anthology, BDSM, and the Ariana Overton Award for Best Cover Art or the Ari.

Only books reviewed by The Romance Studio after November 25, 2007 and prior to November 26, 2008 with a publication date during that time will be considered for the awards (with the exception of the Psyche Award see below). (Please note that overall ratings given to books in posted reviews at TRS are not indicative of book(s) strength or weakness in consideration).

Winners of the CAPA's will receive the award graphic (above) for display on their web site and free advertising for the book winning the award for the month of March 2009.

Reminder The Psyche Award is a category for romances that did not meet the nomination criteria but that our reviewers felt deserved special recognition. Books in this category have not previously received a CAPA award.

The final awards will be announced on February 14, 2009.

Here are the nominees in each category nominated only by the reviewers of TRS. Congratulations everyone!

As is tradition, nominees will get their nominee graphic by posting an excerpt from their nominated work -- or one of their works in the case of a favorite author nomination -- to the appropriate TRS author loop (TRS http://groups.yahoo.com/group/theromancestudio for PG and TRS BLUE http://groups.yahoo.com/group/trsblue for 18 and over only) during the week of 1/5/09 - 1/9/09. Once the excerpt is posted, our staff will send the graphic by email. Thank you!
