Now, in the 21st Century, the war still wages. The Unkindness continues on, known now as The Raven Clan. They fight hard and love even harder. And yet... The monsters still haunt the night. Forced to break into small groups called 'Clutches' to survive, the Horde of Vampires still exists. For now...
Ivy Green is on a mission: to find her runaway sister Heather who has decided to sample life as a Sanguinarian. Problem is, Heather hopped a boat named Bloody Hell and is sailing around Lake Michigan. Ivy is used to finding people. That's what she does. She's a private investigator. But finding a boat is quite another thing. Just as she scents Heather's trail, one more problem arises. And boy is he something else. Holt Raven, a dark dream that oozes testosterone, intercepts her at every turn. How is she going to get past him, the most sensual creature that she's ever met, and find Heather?
Holt Raven is stunned when he crashes into Ivy Green. The dark haired vixen aggravates him at every turn as he and two other members of the Raven Clan are on a mission to destroy a Clutch of vampires who have taken refuge on a yacht called Bloody Hell. Ivy sidetracks him as she worms her way into his heart. Holt, always a loner, has found a kindred spirit in her. Will he be able to complete his mission while losing his heart? Ivy is the woman that he has always dreamed of but will Holt be able to claim her when the mission is over? Or will they all fall victim to the darkness residing on the waters of Lake Michigan, and the evil lure of the occupants of Bloody Hell?

An Interview with Rhiannon Neeley
By Holly Hewson, Marketing Director for The Romance Studio
HH: Welcome back to TRS BLUE, Rhiannon. Please tell us about your featured book, The Ravens Revisited: Holt.RN: Holt, Book Five of the Raven Series, features the strongest of the Raven Clan--Holt Raven. He's the strong, silent type but when he speaks--people listen. Ivy Green is a private investigator on a mission and this one is personal. Her wayward sister has run off, more than likely straight into the arms of trouble, and Ivy has to find her. Even though Ivy is small, her personality is huge and full of spark. Holt finds this out very quickly when they literally crash into each other. Holt is like the forbidding but sexy security guard you see standing in the corner, arms crossed and bigger than life. Ivy is an impish sprite with a mouth that gets her into some heated confrontations. Put these two opposites together and not only do sparks fly, they also manage to learn something about themselves.
HH: First, can you tell us what we can look forward to in this new version of your very popular series? RN: Holt has been re-edited and is a little edgier I think. A little more developed. I've got a great editor and proofer at Whispers Publishing and the story has benefitted from their insight.
HH: How does Holt continue the series? RN: Holt continues the series in a few different ways. He's the cousin of the first three--brothers John, Eric and Dirk--and the brother of Drake. We get to know Hot in this installment of the series, get to see a bit behind the silent, stoic mask and learn about the man inside. Also we find out vampires don't always have to be on land...they can be other places too.
HH: Where did you get the idea for this series? RN: Where did I get the idea for this series? I wrote Book One: JOHN thinking it would be the only book I wrote about the Raven Clan but once I realized the other Raven men were just as interesting and as sexy--and the fact that the war with the Vampire Horde was far from over--the series took off with a life of its own. Each member of the Raven Clan is so different they needed their own story. Some days I'm still not sure the series is truly finished. LOL
HH: What did you enjoy most about writing these books? RN: I think what I enjoyed most was the continuity of the series. Though I wrote each book to be able to stand on its own, it was fun and sometimes complicated to continue the saga of Ravencrest and the Raven Clan. As each story unfolded, I learned more and more about the characters--about their soul and what drives them to do what they do. It was also great fun to create the world of the Vampire Horde. Interesting villians make for very interesting heroes.
HH: So, I saw somewhere that you're an Eppie Finalist this year? What can you tell us about that? RN: Yes, I am a Finalist this year. I'm very excited about it, too. Derailed, a contemporary romance which is also a Whispers Publishing title, is a finalist this year. It's a story about how one split second can change the way you look at your life. It's also about how sometimes fate steps in and your life gets knocked off track, luckily for the better even though you may not recognize it at the time. Know what I mean? It's like this...you think you want one thing and later find out you really wanted something else entirely. I think we've all experienced that to some extent, haven't we?
HH: What do you have coming up for readers and fans?
RN: I've got some exciting things happening this year and I hope my readers and fans will be excited too.
First, the next two Raven Series books -- Rogue and Colin -- will be released from Whispers Publishing in ebook format. One in April and one in May.
Next, I have two titles coming soon from Forbidden Publications. Both are 'Chris Neeley' titles, stories on the scarier side. They're both short story collections. 'Rhiannon's Run and Other Tales', a 2007 EPPIE Winner in the horror category and the other is 'The Veil and Other Tales'. Rhiannon's Run is a re-edited, re-release and The Veil is new, never before released.
The most exciting news is...the Raven Series will be released in print by Enspiren Press! All seven books will be released in print beginning later this year and not only that...Enspiren Press will also be releasing five more of my works in print. 'Blood Born', a Chris Neeley title, a chilling tale about a southern witch. 'Cottonwood Hill', a gothic-toned paranormal romance. 'The Opposite of Normal', a paranormal romance. 'Awakened by the Dead', another paranormal romance. And 'Crystalline', yet another paranormal romance.
I'm so thrilled about having all these works coming in print, especially the Raven Series. I'm going to have a very busy year and I hope my readers ride the wave along with me.
HH: What is a typical day like for you?
RN: I don't necessarily have typical days. LOL. Okay, I'll give you a bit of an idea...
I work nights so I get home from work at around 8 AM, in bed by 9 or 9:30. Sleep during the morning and early afternoon. I'm drinking my first cup of coffee around 3 PM while I check email and do 'writing business' things. By the time I'm finished with that, it's time to talk to my son, check his schedule, talk to my daugher on the phone (she's in med school) then make dinner. I allow myself to watch one TV show, which I recorded earlier (I hardly ever watch live TV. I love my DVR. LOL) I usually watch either one of the CSI's, Monsterquest, Ghosthunters or Boston Legal, depending on what I have saved to watch. Then I sit down at the computer and either do editing or work on one of my WIPs. Then around 10 PM it's time to get ready for work again. At 11 PM, I'm on the road on the way to work. Then the cycle starts all over again. LOL. So, that's a typical day. You have to add in things like track meets, Boy Scout events, Doctor's appointments and what-not. It gets pretty crazy at times.
HH: If you had one day to spend any way you wanted, what would you do? RN: Oh that's easy. In summer, I'd spend the day boating with my husband and kids and then have a bonfire in the evening. Just basically relaxing around the house. We live on a river and have more boats than we do cars so much of our time is spent on the water in the summer.
If it were winter, I'd like to cozy up on the couch, watch some old black and white movies and have someone deliver pizza. Not very exciting but...I don't get to relax very often. I'm usually pretty busy.
HH: Will you be attending any conferences or conventions this year?
RN: I've got one speaking engagement lined up right now with the date to be announced but I have no plans on attending any conferences or conventions at this point. Of course that's always subject to change.
Thanks for having me at TRS Blue again and I hope to be back again soon!
HH: Thank you!
