About Michelle Pillow
Michelle M. Pillow, Author of All Things Romance, is a multi-published, award winning author writing in many romance fiction genres including futuristic, paranormal, historical, contemporary, fantasy and dark paranormal. Ever since she can remember, she has had a strange fascination with anything supernatural--ghosts, magical powers, and oh... vampires. What could be more alluring than being immortal, all-powerful, and eternally beautiful? After discovering historical romance novels, it was only natural that the supernatural and love/romance elements should someday meet in my wonderland of a brain. She's glad they did for their children have been pouring onto the computer screen ever since.
She has been on the Amazon bestseller list multiple times, nominated for the Romantic Times Lifetime Achievement Award 2011, the winner of the 2006 RT Reviewers' Choice Award, nominated for the 2007 RT Award, a Brava Novella Contest Finalist and a PAN member of RWA.
She writes a monthly interview column and is a journalist for Paranormal Underground Magazine. She has a BGS in History/Business with an English Minor, and a Photography degree. In 2009 she and fellow author Mandy M. Roth started their own highly successful self-publishing endeavor named The Raven Books.
She loves to hear from readers. They can contact her through her website michellepillow.com.

An Interview with Michelle Pillow
HH: Michelle, thank you for talking with us at TRS. You featured story is Degrees of Passion. Where did you get the idea for this amazing story?
By Holly Hewson for The Romance Studio
MP: This is part of the Matthew Sisters series for (Virgin Books/Random House). I wanted to write a series about sisters. With the Dragon Lords, I was writing a lot of brothers. I love the sibling bond, the "I can pick on my sister but don't you dare try it" kind of mentality.
HH: What do you like about Sasha and why will readers identify with her?
MP: It seems I'm one of those perpetual students that just keeps going. I love to research and learn. Sasha is the same way, only she's a little lost. She doesn't know what she wants to do with her life, so she keeps changing her mind. I think readers will relate to that in some way. We've all had that pressure of "What do you want to be when you grow up?" I always tell kids when they get stressed about it, "Why do you have to be just one thing? Life is full of options."
HH: What do you like about Kevin and why will readers love him?
MP: Kevin is a great guy. He's hard working, perhaps a bit moody, but he's one of those decent guys who might not have all the money and power but he's definitely worthy of getting the girl.
HH: What sets this story apart from your other works?
MP: Sasha is very torn between two men. One is the rich, by all social appearances a Prince Charming. The other is by all appearances a tough guy, but is truly a metaphorical prince.
HH: What do you think readers will enjoy most about this romance?
MP: Watching Sasha work through her insecurities and doubt, learning the ultimate life lesson: sometimes the things we wish for aren't the things we need.
HH: What else do you have in store for lucky readers?
MP: The Matthew Sisters has 3 other books--Bit by the Bug, Along for the Ride, and Recipe for Disaster (AKA Her New Boss).
HH: What would most like to accomplish in your writing career this year?
MP: I already did it. I finished the new website: www.michellepillow.com.
Now I'd be happy to get caught up on all the writing projects that were on hold while I finished the website. :)
HH: What hobbies or interests do you have outside of your writing?
MP: Most of what I do incorporates somehow into my work. People watching is always fun. I'm also trying my hand at gardening this year. So far I haven't killed anything off, so I'm calling that a win.
HH: What's your favorite quote ever?
MP: From my upcoming Dragon Lords: The Reluctant Lord - "Without love, life was nothing but endless tasks and battles."
HH: What's your favorite social media and how to use it to let readers know about your books?
MP: I like Twitter and Facebook, and use both for announcements. You might get a little more nonsense talking on Twitter though than my FB Author Page.

Or the best way is to get the book announcement newsletter: http://www.michellepillow.com/newsletter/?p=subscribe
