Reviews for Sweet Satisfaction
Great book!, May 28, 2013
I loved this story of two friends who have secretly loved each other for years. Kate was scared of losing their friendship and Connor was trying to show her that they could have both love and friendship. The story was so very hot and emotional. I highly recommend this book and series!

Any woman would be lucky to have Connor fulfill her fantasies. Add the fact that its an old friend who does it? What more could a girl want? I love second chance at love stories, and stories where friends finally declare their true feelings. Sweet Satisfaction does not disappoint!

About Becca Dale
Becca Dale writes erotic romance with what many readers consider sweet-heat. She jokingly told her first editor she was naughty enough, but fans have encouraged her to continue that philosophy. So while her work carries an erotic heat level, the emotional impact is equally high. It remains Becca’s goal to test and explore reader' fantasies through characters that could be the girl next door or the woman in the mirror.

An Interview with Becca Dale
By Holly Hewson for The Romance Studio
HH: Becca, thank you so much for talking with us at TRS. Your featured book is Sweet Satisfaction. What can you tell us about how this sizzling romance came to be?
BD: Thanks for having me here, Holly. TRS is always a fun place to visit. The Sweet series started with a super short story about a woman with body and mother issues (Sweet Temptation) but led to the idea of a family “cursed” by love at first sight. The hero, Connor, is part of that family. When he and Kate showed up as advisors and friends to the couple in Sweet Restraint, I fell in love with them both. Something about them demanded a chance to shine.
HH: What do you like best about Kate and why will readers be cheering for her?
BD: I adore Kate’s can-do attitude even though it falters when it comes to love. She is outwardly strong and in charge. She does everything over the top except give her heart away. In fact she has spent her entire life avoiding the type of dominate men she desires for fear of making her mother’s mistakes. She pushes Connor away and tells herself he doesn’t fit what she needs because he makes her question her control, which scares her. I think many of us can relate to the idea of battling what we want over what we should choose.
HH: What can you tell us about Connor and why will readers love him?
BD: I do not know how anyone could not love Connor, but that might be because he reminds me of my husband more than any of my other heroes. He’s sweet and funny and sexy and just enough of a Dom to push all the right buttons. But, above all of that, he’s patient and considerate – a nice guy without being a pushover. Although Kate tests him again and again, he never demands more than she can give nor belittles her need for self-protection.
HH: How tricky is it to write friends to lovers stories and why?
BD: It was harder than I anticipated. Connor had to not only break down Kate’s defenses but also get beyond her fear of losing him as a friend. Not an easy thing when her past tells her the moment women let down their guard and show vulnerability, men walk and don’t look back.
HH: What did you enjoy most about crafting this tale?
BD: Besides the extremely sexy bits which tested my every limit as a writer, I truly enjoyed the way Connor gave Kate everything she claimed to want to show her what she really desired. It was fun to take a look at how sexy changes for each of us—why tall, outgoing, and sexually adventurous don’t necessarily equal perfection beyond the pages of a book. Kate’s road to discovery made me laugh aloud more than once as Connor showed her the path to his arms.
HH: What else do you have in store for lucky readers?
BD: I recently released the second story in a paranormal series (Sanctuary from Decadent Publishing) called Ryan’s Treasure. In addition, there are several more on my desk including a cookie club collection I am working on with some very talented friends, another for the Sanctuary and another for the Sweet series. My day job just took a turn so I won’t have as much time to write as I would like, but I intend to make the most of it.
HH: Where do you draw inspiration from?
BD: Life in general. I see heroes and heroines walking down the street every day. Whether it is physical appearance, attitude, or strength/weakness that catches my attention, the moment often nags at me repeatedly until I find a way to play it forward. People are amazing and my mind is always spinning with what might be going on behind the public facade.
HH: What's your writing schedule like?
BD: Schedule? I should have a schedule? Dang it! I knew I had forgotten something. Between work and family I don’t always have spare time during the day. Many of my fellow authors have encouraged me to carve out time to visit my characters, but I usually write when I get a moment – often in the wee hours of the morning while the hubby is still asleep. It’s a habit I developed when my kids were little and one I cannot seem to break.
HH: Where can readers find you online?
BD: I’m all over. Here are some places you can find me.

HH: What's your favorite place to hang out online?
BD: I’m on Facebook as often as anywhere else, but I am not on nearly enough. I prefer hanging with people I can see, but I have connected with some of my best friends and fans online -- fantastic people I have met or hope to meet face to face at some point.
HH: Thank you!
