Cain's voices have told him to take the woman with him. At first he has no idea why, until he feels the mating urge, an urge he's not felt before for any of his kind. He finally understands that Anke is the final link, the one who was missing from the pack of one hundred. She will make their dreams come true--she will help them return to the world they originated from. Without her, the window in time would pass and they would have to wait for the next window.
Anke is convinced she's in a weird fantasy dream, especially when she shifts into a creature and watches the others do the same. At the same time Cain turns her on so much, as the human, and as the creature, that she goes along with the dream, wants him to make love to her.
Follow Anke and Cain as they travel to other worlds, as they try and solve the mystery of their origin.

An Interview with Gabriella Bradley
By Holly Hewson, Marketing Director for The Romance Studio
HH: Gabriella, welcome to TRS BLUE. Please tell us about your featured work, The Seventh Portal.GB: The Seventh Portal is the first segment of a science fiction futuristic series, set between Earth and other planets. It's left with a cliffhanger leading into book 2, Cataclysm of Fire.
Anke faces another Christmas alone. With certain misgivings she goes to the jewelry store to pick up her fixed watch that was a gift from her ex fiance. Just after her arrival at the store, she is witness to a robbery. Only this thief is no ordinary thief. He's the sexiest individual she's ever met and she can't help feeling attracted to him, despite the circumstances.

HH: This is the first book in the Minharian Chronicles. Where did you get the idea for this series and what can you tell us about it? GB: I was trying to come up with a complete fresh idea, something that hadn't been done before. Since all shapeshifters are felines, werewolves, vampires, snakes, aliens, etc., I came up with a new type of shapeshifter, one that has been supposedly spotted by many people on Earth. Why couldn't this creature be from another planet? That's why no one has ever caught one? That's why they're so fast that people can only get a fleeting glimpse of them?
HH: What can you tell us about the next book in the series, Cataclysm of Fire? GB: Cataclysm of Fire continues the story of Cain and Anke, and the pack. In book 2, the duo needs to find the protagonist who brought all those babies to Earth and deal with him. After they find him, they have no idea what Bill's plans are. This story, again, ends with a cliffhanger that leads into book three.
Cain and Anke's search for Bill Morton begins. However, one of the pack has friends in dark places and has already discovered Bill's whereabouts. Cain, Anke and Storm, pay Bill a visit and recover the communication device from him. Little do they know or realize what Bill Morton has in mind. Except Storm...
Several of the pack become dissatisfied. They want the riches Minharia offers and take them back to Earth. This causes unrest among them. Storm, the instigator, is in contact with Bill Morton. She enlists the help of one of the other members of the pack. Together the three of them plot to get their hands on the Minharian emeralds.
Cain and Anke are unaware at first of what's going on, but soon one of them picks up Storm's thoughts and is alerted. Storm manages to block them out, but not before they have learned that she's up to something.
Bill Morton wants it all and has no intention of sharing. He carefully plans the elimination of the pack so he can have the portal and the wealth it can give him for himself.

HH: What can you tell us about the rest of the series? GB: Book three is in the making, From the Ashes. There will possibly be a fourth and a fifth, as I don't think I can get it all together in book three.
As Anke continues to hear Cain’s voice from the plains of eternity, she’s torn between her deep love for him, and the feelings she has developed for Gordon. Cain’s prediction, that she would soon join him, continues to plague her. She feels danger at every turn and fears her time to die and join Cain is just around the corner. Though her love for him will never die, she’s not ready to be with him and leave life as she knows it now.
To Anke and Gordon’s dismay, when Terry and Slink stole the clothing and food, the media captured them on video. Their pictures, although distorted because of the speed with which the Sasquatches travel, were all over the news and the internet.
When one evening Anke and Gordon watch the news, there is a special news feature about the capture of several Sasquatches. The news flash shows the remains of the farm, several interviews with neighbors and fire fighters, but no pictures of the Sasquatches.
Anke and Gordon, happy that some of the pack survived the fire, know they have to rescue their pack brothers or sisters. With very little to go on, they start their investigation and search for the surviving members, hoping Cain’s spirit will speak to Anke from the eternal plains to assist them.
HH: What are you working on now? GB: I am working on From the Ashes, as well as a contemporary (no title yet), a vampire - Flame, and a paranormal (no title yet).
HH: What else do you have in store for readers in 2008? GB: The continuation of the Minharian chronicles for sure as the continuation of the series is already set in my mind. As for the rest of my works in progress, I work on whatever the muse tells me to work on.
HH: How did you get your start as a writer? GB: I started writing at a very young age and had my first story published at age 6. I wrote many stories during my years of raising children, but didn't get into it seriously until 1992. I also write mainstream as Martine Jardin. My first book, Shadowed Love, was published in 1998. This book will be re issued after extensive editing and with a new cover soon by Devine Destinies. I started writing erotica in 2001, had several stories accepted by magazines, Penthouse for one, then continued to write erotica as I love being able to write uninhibited. I have eleven stories out with eXtasy Books right now.
HH: How have things changed for you since then? GB: Nothing much has changed, except my writing has improved a lot and I'm a few years older, LOL
HH: What would you most like for readers to know about you? GB: I'm very prolific, especially with encouragement from readers. Readers can email me at gabriella@telus.net with any suggestions or wishes for a certain type of book, or talk to me about my published books. I love interacting with readers and hear from them.
HH: Thank you!
