| For Allison watching two of her friends fall in love just brings back her feelings of loneliness and the desire for a man of her own. But Allison doesn’t think she is pretty and men generally don’t notice her. Will something as simple as a makeover change her life? Allison has been in love with her best friend Ken’s older brother for as long as she can remember but to Brian she is just Ken’s buddy and a kid. If it takes a makeover to get Brian’s attention then that is what she wants, isn’t it?
In the Witchy Woes series, a coven of witches have their lives turned upside down when a new member’s spell goes awry. Allison is the third book in the series. If you have not read the first two, do yourself a favor and read them first before this one. These stories are cute and fun but each is building on the stories that come before it. I am still loving and enjoying this series. It hasn’t gotten old or tiring to me yet. Each story is a different friend’s tale and each is unique and fun. In this one, Allison lacks self confidence in her appearance and has hidden behind baggy clothes and long hair for years but there is a lot more to Allison than her appearance. Is Brian a shallow type of guy that will only notice Allison when her appearance is improved or is there more to Brian than meets the eye too? If you liked the first two books of this series, you will like this one too. Ms. Hasker is still tickling my fancy with this series and I am looking forward to the next installment!
